settings → general (member settings section) control what members can do when managing their own profiles setting description allow self profile members can register themselves as a student during signup allow child profile members can add their children as students during signup allow self enrolment members can select and enrol into a class when registering require approval to edit profile members must request permission before editing their profile admin approves once, and the profile locks again after saving use these to control how much of the onboarding flow members can complete themselves versus requiring admin setup 🔐 require approval to edit profile when this setting is on , members cannot freely edit their own profiles instead the member taps request edit on their profile all admins receive a notification and in app alert an admin reviews the request and taps allow profile edit on the student's profile in the admin panel the member receives a notification that their edit has been approved the member has one edit window — after saving, the profile locks again automatically this is useful for clubs that need to maintain accurate records and prevent members from changing key details (name, ic number, etc ) without oversight admins can also revoke an edit window before the member saves — tap revoke on the student's profile card to re lock immediately this setting applies to member facing profile edits only admins and team members can always edit student profiles directly from the admin panel 🔒 security settings → security control whether remmu support
