Introduction to REMMU
REMMU is an academy management platform built for fitness studios, martial arts academies, yoga centres, and any activity-based academy. It handles the full lifecycle of running an academy — from enrolling students and scheduling classes to collecting payments and sending notifications.

👥 Who Uses REMMU
- Academy owners / admins — full access to manage everything
- Team members — staff with scoped access (e.g. limited to specific locations)
- Members — students or guardians who view their own data and make payments
- Instructors — coaches who can view their billing history
🔧 How It Works
Each academy gets its own workspace at your-academy-name.remmu.com (or a custom domain the academy connects). Admins log in to manage the academy. Members log in to view their payments, attendance, and packages.
The mobile app (iOS and Android) gives members a native experience for checking payment status, viewing attendance records, and managing session packages — all linked to the same account.
🔑 Key Concepts
Tenant — Each academy is a "tenant" with its own isolated data, branding, and settings. No academy can see another academy's data.
Billing Types — REMMU supports six ways to charge members:
- Monthly — fixed recurring fee per class
- Package — buy a block of sessions upfront
- Per Session — pay each time you attend
- Frequency-Based — tiered pricing based on sessions per week (e.g. 1x/week, 2x/week)
- Trial Class — try classes before committing to a paid plan
- Per Hour — billed per hour (hourly rate × class duration × lessons in the month)
Payment Methods — Academies can accept bank transfers (with manual proof upload) or online payments via CommercePay.
