Dashboard
The dashboard is the first screen you see after logging in. It shows a summary of your academy's current state — tailored to your role.
📊 Admin Dashboard
Admins see a full overview of the academy:
- Total students — active enrolments across all classes
- Payments this month — total collected vs expected
- Overdue payments — number and amount overdue, using the same rules as the Payments page (overdue invoices due this year, net of discounts and refunds). The card is labelled with the year, and the count matches what you see after clicking through
- Trial students — how many students are on trial, linking to the Trial filter
- Attendance today — sessions running and check-ins so far
- Recent activity — latest payments, enrolments, and sign-ups
- Grace period alerts — students about to be suspended
Tip: Use the dashboard as a daily health check before the day starts.
🔧 Team Member Dashboard
Team members see the same overview but scoped to their assigned locations only:
- Students and payments at their location(s)
- Attendance for classes at their location(s)
- No access to other locations' data
👤 Instructor Dashboard
Instructors see a personal view:
- My classes today — sessions they're teaching
- My upcoming classes — schedule for the week
- My payments — recent compensation records
- Attendance summary — how many students attended recent sessions
📱 Member Dashboard
Members (students) see a personal summary:
- My classes — every class they're enrolled in, with the next session date displayed (Today / Tomorrow / In X days / on a specific date)
- My payments — upcoming and recent fees
- My attendance — recent sessions attended
- My packages — session balance remaining
- Announcements — latest updates from the academy
Multiple students on one account (parents/guardians)
Parents managing multiple children see classes grouped by student with a header for each child — making it easy to scan "who has class today" at a glance. Single-student accounts continue to see a flat class list.
Next session indicator
Each class card shows the next upcoming session prominently:
- Today / Tomorrow — highlighted in colour for sessions happening soon
- In X days — for sessions later this week
- In X weeks — for sessions further out
- Specific date — for sessions more than a couple of weeks away
Sessions on holidays or paused due to a calendar event are excluded — the indicator only counts active sessions.
🔗 Navigating from the Dashboard
Every dashboard card links directly to the relevant section. Clicking an overdue payment count takes you to the filtered payments list. Clicking today's attendance takes you to the live check-in view.
⚙️ Switching Between Views
If you have multiple roles (e.g. both admin and instructor), you can switch between dashboard views from the top navigation.
