email logs give you a complete record of every email sent from your club — receipts, reminders, invitations, and more use this to confirm delivery, preview content, and resend when needed 📧 accessing email logs go to settings → emails (or settings → email logs tab) emails are listed with the most recent first, 20 per page 📋 what you can see for each entry in the log column description recipient name and email address subject email subject line type category (receipt, invitation, reminder, grace period warning, etc ) status current delivery status sent at date and time dispatched 📊 email statuses status colour meaning pending yellow queued, not yet sent sent blue dispatched to mail server delivered green confirmed in inbox opened green recipient opened the email clicked purple recipient clicked a link failed red could not be sent (error shown on hover) bounced orange rejected by recipient's mail server 🔍 filtering & search use the search bar and filters to narrow the list search — by recipient name or email address status filter — show only failed, bounced, or sent emails date range — look at a specific period 🔧 actions per email each email entry has three action buttons view (eye icon) opens a modal showing recipient, subject, sent time, status full html preview of the email rendered in a frame — exactly what the member received error message (if status is failed or bounced) use this to verify the content that was sent before resending resend (refresh icon) resends the same email to the same recipient immediately useful when a payment receipt ended up in spam a guardian invitation expired before the person saw it a reminder was missed note resending does not create a new log entry — it updates the existing one delete (trash icon) permanently removes the log entry important use sparingly — deleting removes the audit trail ⚠️ handling failed or bounced emails failed — the email could not be sent common causes invalid email address format temporary server issue (try resending) bounced — the email was sent but rejected by the recipient's server common causes email address no longer exists inbox is full domain is blocking remmu's sender steps to fix view the error message on the log entry contact the member via whatsapp or phone confirm their correct email address update it on their student profile resend the email ⚙️ log retention email logs are retained for 90 days older records are automatically removed
