**Locations** represent the physical venues where your academy operates. Classes are assigned to a location, and team members can be scoped to see only certain locations.

## ✏️ Adding a Location

Go to **Locations → Add Location** and enter:

- Location name (e.g. "Main Studio", "KL Branch")
- Address
- Any relevant notes

### Geofenced check-in (optional)

If [Geofenced Check-in](docId:5D3FSbm6OHy7r7eZnrzu_) is enabled tenant-wide in Attendance Settings, each location can opt in individually:

1. Turn on **Geofenced check-in**
2. Set the **Allowed radius (meters)**
3. Set the location's coordinates — enter **Latitude**/**Longitude** manually, or click **Use current location** to capture your device's GPS position on the spot

Members and instructors checking in at this location will need to be physically within the configured radius.

## 🗂️ Grid and List View

The Locations page supports two display modes — toggle between them using the view switcher at the top right:

- **Grid view** — visual cards per location, good for a quick overview
- **List view** — compact rows with summary stats per location

***

## ⚙️ Location Settings

Click **Settings** on any location to open the Location Settings dialog.

### Class Categories

Organise your classes into **categories** (e.g. "Beginners", "Advanced", "Kids"). Categories are per-location and help group classes visually.

- Add, rename, reorder (up/down), or delete categories
- Assign a colour to each category for visual distinction
- Each category shows how many classes are assigned to it

Categories are assigned to a class when creating or editing it.

### 🏷️ Pricing Groups (Bundle Pricing)

If your academy sells "take multiple classes for one package price" — for example, a Year 6 exam-prep bundle covering three subjects at RM 250/month instead of paying each class's fee separately — set this up with a **Pricing Group** in Location Settings, right next to Class Categories.

A Pricing Group bundles a set of eligible classes with **class-count tiers**:

| Classes taken | Price |
| ------------- | ------------ |
| 1 class | RM 100/month |
| 2 classes | RM 190/month |
| 3 classes | RM 250/month |

- **Eligible classes** are chosen either by picking a **Class Category** (any class in that category qualifies) or by selecting an explicit list of classes
- **Tiers** are class-count → price pairs — add as many as your bundle needs
- Each group can be **paused** independently (rather than one global on/off switch for the whole feature)
- The bundle price is always calculated fresh at invoice time from the tier that matches how many eligible classes the student is currently taking — it is never a stored/stashed amount, so it stays correct if a class's own fee later changes

:::hint{type="info"}
Bundle pricing is available for **Monthly**-billed classes only.

For how a member or admin actually enrols in — and later manages — a bundle, see [Enrolling a Student in a Class → Enrolling in a Pricing Group Bundle](docId\:Hi2E6pxlMWco8LLfocBNK).

## 📅 Assigning Classes to a Location

When creating or editing a class, select the location it takes place at. A class must have a location assigned.

***

## 🔑 Team Member Scoping

Team members (non-admin staff) can be restricted to specific locations. When scoped, they only see students, classes, and payments tied to their assigned locations.

**Tip:** This is useful for multi-branch academies where each branch manager should only manage their own venue.

## 🔗 QR Code Check-In by Location

Each location also has its own **QR code** that students can scan to mark attendance for any class at that venue. This is useful for reception desks where a single QR code handles multiple classes running at the same location.

To get the location QR code: open the location → click **QR Code**.
